Colin combines thoughtful risk management with the belief that play, challenge, and the occasional cannonball are essential ingredients for all members of a healthy community.

Colin brings an eclectic background to Wagner Pool oversight, most recently grooming for Methow Trails and attempting to learn the quiet art of making great corduroy. Before moving to the Methow Valley full time, he spent 15 years in Santa Monica, California, where he chaired the experiential outdoor education department at a private school. Along the way, he’s also worked as a mountain bike guide, wilderness therapy instructor, managed a brewery, worked for a tech startup, and did stints in both glass blowing and nuclear decommissioning. He lives outside Twisp with his wife and two precocious adventure seekers who are two and four years old.
